The Creative Curriculum is an effective tool for achieving the best standards in a high-quality early childhood program for infants and toddlers. It uses a framework in which caregivers are the foundation of the curriculum and play a central role in nurturing relationships among caregivers/teachers, children, and families.

Infant/Toddler Curriculum

(3 to 18 months)

Our nursery has been specially designed to create a warm and secure environment for infants. From the peaceful sleeping, to eating and play time.

Teachers sing songs and read stories to encourage language acquisition, and they pass balls and play games to develop motor skills. Teachers spend lots of time cuddling and talking to babies to instill trust and to provide a healthy learning environment.

EKA's curriculum is designed and implemented to meet and exceed the Florida Early Childhood Education Standards.

This classroom transitions children from infant to toddler - children attempt new vocabulary and practice self-help skills. Shapes, colors, and numbers are introduced. A big emphasis is placed on exploration and the importance of books.

Toddlers 18-24 months

At Elite Kids Academy, Toddlers are Big People

Toddler's life is marked by rapid growth in language acquisition, self-sufficiency and social skills. The Elite Kids Academy Toddler program is designed to maximize each child's educational, social and emotional growth. Families will receive regular feedback on their child's progress.

Developmentally-appropriate lessons are introduced to toddlers at Elite Kids Academy. All activities are fun-filled but designed with clear cognitive goals. Emphasis is placed on exploring and playing together as toddlers begin their understanding of socially appropriate behavior.

3-Year Olds Exploring the World...

Preschool-Style

At EKA each classroom for the three year old has developmentally appropriate learning centers. Activities in our center-based curriculum will prepare your child for success in primary school. School readiness activities in English language pre-reading, writing, counting, number recognition and problem solving are presented in a fun-filled but purposeful manner.

The exploration of early learning continues in areas of dramatic play, science and art. Emphasis is placed on cooperative play as children practice their understanding of socially appropriate behavior.

While children are learning, EKA offers a secure and loving environment with an established routine and written daily communication with families.

Preschool Curriculum

(3 to 5 years old)

We believe the children learn best by pursuing their personal interests and goals. Children are encouraged to make choices about materials and activities throughout the day. As they pursue their choices and plans, children explore, ask and answer questions, solve problems, and interact with classmates and adults. In this kind of environment, children naturally engage in key experiences-activities that foster developmentally important skills: creative representation, language and literacy, initiative in social relations, movement, music, and learning concepts of numbers, space and time.

Ready. Set. Pre-Kindergarten!

EKA's Pre-Kindergarten program provides a wide variety of planned activities centered on enabling four-year olds ready to excel in Kindergarten.

Educational activities are offered in areas of science, music, art, language and early reading and numbers and early math in our eight developmentally appropriate learning centers.

EKA's curriculum is designed and implemented to meet and exceed the Florida Early Childhood Education Standards.

Children work at activities to learn the alphabet and letter sounds, to learn numbers and simple math, and to master early writing skills. Computers, loaded with educational software, are an integral part of the program. Children are encouraged and staff are required to verbally exchange ideas as the building of expressive and receptive vocabulary skills is an essential program initiative.
